I don’t know what my obsession with cookies are lately. I think cookies are my go-to for a quick treat for when people are being annoying.
If you’re not familiar with malt. Familiarize yourself with it. Just not here. I’m not going to go into detail as to what it is or how it came about. Because I’m not sure myself and every time I try to tell you people something I get that one asshole emailing me telling, “That’s not true.” They have nothing else better to do than sit on the internet and tell people they’re wrong.
One day while I was at work a coworker asked me if I wanted some green tea. Green Tea? Hell no I didn’t want any green tea. I’m at work, I’m trying to accomplish things, I need coffee. Give me green tea after a massage and a sushi buffet and let me take my nap. Then she pulled out this mystical looking tea bag in a shape I had never seen a tea bag shaped before. She held it up and spun it around like it had powers. “It has bits of brown rice in it” she said. I just nodded my head like I was in a trance and said “yes, I would like some of that.”
Remember last week we made the jelly roll sponge? Hopefully you tried it and perfected it this weekend. Because here is the cake I promised you. The cinnamon roll cake. Now you got something to work on this weekend.
Recently I have been on an arepa kick that has almost become ridiculous. It came out of the sky and was just there and it’s been going strong ever since. Recently to my recently I discovered sweet arepa’s and life hasn’t been the same.
I think scones are going to be the new big thing. Cupcakes are so 2000! Scones are easier to carry and there’s no frosting to have to worry about getting all over your clothes. Yes, there are crumbs but they are easy to brush off and they don’t stain like those cheap cupcakes you buy with the oily frosting.
One of the best parts of being a kid is the Holiday’s. Luckily I grew up with a big family. They were fun, had great hearts (I mean that in the kind way. In the healthy way we have terrible hearts) awesome, always down for a good time and they loved to eat.
